We recognise that some media portray Iran as a frightening and hostile country that does not respect human rights. Through our events and website, we aim to present a fuller, fairer, and more accurate picture of Iran. We will also explore aspects of Iranian law that we believe could work well in the UK, and aspects of UK law that we believe could work well in Iran.

We believe that, like every other country, Iran has some laws that may require reform or improvement. However, we do not believe that this justifies so-called “regime change” or aggression. We support peaceful dialogue, legal reform, and constructive engagement instead.
